RNC Rolls Out 'Protect the Vote' Website in Support of Voter Integrity

The Republican National Committee (RNC) rolled out an online resource in support of voter integrity, and to protect against “the Democrats’ assault on the integrity of our elections.” During COVID-19, Democrats nationwide have expressed support for a nationalized mail-in ballot system, as opposed to in-person voting; the RNC argues that mail-in voting compromises voter privacy and the integrity of elections:

ProtecttheVote.com represents the RNC’s advocacy against mail-in voting, “late-arriving” votes, ballot harvesting and contacting “inactive” voters. The GOP seeks to protect voter integrity measures including voter identification mandates and signature matching, in order to combat voter fraud.

“The RNC will stop at nothing to ensure the integrity of our elections is upheld in the face of Democrats’ brazen assaults.  Americans deserve to have confidence in their elections, and we will not stand idly by while Democrats try to sue their way to victory in November,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told Fox News.

In conjunction with President Trump’s re-election campaign, the RNC allotted $20M to fight lawsuits from Democrats over voting laws.

Partisan disagreement over voting laws has grown even more divisive, as Democrats seek to relax strict voting measures.
