The Left's Embrace of Islam Just Got More Insane

A little more than two months after several Jewish Australians were killed in a terror attack on Bondi Beach, a video is making the rounds on social media of ISIS-linked youth (gee, doesn't that sound familiar) hunting down and attacking gay Australians.

Pavlou describes the horrific attacks:

These systematic coordinated attacks came out of the same underground ISIS network that produced the Bondi terrorist attack and the ISIS stabbing of Christian priest Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel.

''In one video, the gang forces a different 16-year-old into a toilet block and repeatedly punches him while calling him a "f*****" and a "kaffir", or nonbeliever. Blood runs down his face as he begs, "I'll do anything."

''A third clip shows a boy in a cropped top lying silent on the grass, his hands shielding his face as he is repeatedly stomped on and called a "gay dog", while one attacker shouts "Dawlatul Islam" — Arabic for Islamic State (IS).''

But much in the same way, Australian officials came out against "Islamophobia" after two Islamic terrorists killed Jews, the Left is once again coming to the defense of the Muslim savages beating and harassing gay Australians.

Including a group called "Trans Justice Sydney."

Why? Because "Islamophobia."

Look, I understand that the trans activist community isn't known for having the best mental health, but it's stunning to me to watch them throw members of the LGBTQ cohort under the bus to please the very people who would throw them off of buildings for being "trans."

This is, to steal a term from the Left, the chickens literally rooting for Colonel Sanders.

But it's also indicative of how diseased and twisted Leftist thinking and their embrace of intersectionality are, and it's clear gay Australians, Jewish Australians, and all non-Muslim Australians will pay the price for this appeasement to Islamism. Part of me wonders if this isn't rooted in the Left's hatred of Western culture — that whole "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." But if the trans community wants to get in bed with Muslims, be my guest. Let me know how that works out for you when you're no longer a useful tool for the caliphate.

I am hardly a Leftist, as those of you who have followed me and read my work know. But I know there are my peers on the Left side of the aisle who will have to see this and realize we're heading down a very dangerous path, one where their radical "allies" will sell them (and their dogs) out to violent, 10th-century sociopolitical ideology in order to virtue signal to the world that they're not bigots. However you feel about conservatives, or President Trump, know this: the only thing standing between you and a short drop from a rooftop is Western civilization. And each and every day, the radical Left chips away at that, undermining the thing that allows gays and lesbians to live openly and freely in tolerant societies. 

So while the insane trans activist crowd protects the murderous Muslims, the rest of us will, and must, unite to stop this scourge. And stop it we must. At the end of last year, I wrote about how Europe's embrace of Islam is pushing gay Europeans to embrace the political Right, something many of them never expected to do. But when your choice is be beaten or beheaded by the Islamists progressives imported to your nation, or align with the political groups that won't sacrifice in the name of being "anti-racist" and "tolerant," the choice is an easy one to make.
