Bill and Hillary Clinton kicked off their speaking tour in Toronto on Tuesday and took plenty of shots at President Trump, including saying he was “part of the cover up” in the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
“We have a president who is part of the coverup as to what happened in that consulate or embassy when Mr. Khashoggi was murdered,” Clinton said about the October killing of the Washington Post columnist in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
“And we have a president and those closest to him who have their own personal commercial interests,” she added.
Hillary Clinton says President Trump is "part of the cover up" of the Khashoggi murder. Then Clinton asks - "How much commercial interest both the president’s family and business and his son-in-law’s family and business have with the king?"

The president has taken heat over his position that the U.S. will remain allies with Saudi Arabia after the killing.
"We may never know all of the facts surrounding the murder of Mr. Jamal Khashoggi. In any case, our relationship is with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They have been a great ally in our very important fight against Iran," Trump said in a statement.

"Our intelligence agencies continue to assess all information, but it could very well be that the crown prince had knowledge of this tragic event — maybe he did and maybe he didn’t," he continued, adding that "we may never know" who was responsible.
His remarks last week came as the CIA reached the conclusion that the murder was carried out under MBS’s orders.
