Tweeting Happy Easter Blessings Is the New Norm

The day of Jesus Christ's resurrection is upon us once again. As Christians celebrate the holiest day of their year, here is how a few officials wished their blessings.

President Donald J. Trump jumped straight to the point. No frills, no extra exclamation points.

His Vice President, Mike Pence, poignantly remarked on the "dawn of grace" that entered the world following Jesus' resurrection

The leader of the Catholic church reminded the faithful today is the the cornerstone of their religion.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio shared a nice photo of his family.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez reminded his companions the importance of friends and family.

United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley called for reflection and love.

And finally, Hulk Hogan wished Easter greetings from the top rope.

Twitter is easily the worst place on the web some days. Probably 98% of the time, it is simply a hoard of voices and nocuous opinions devoid of humanity. Surely, a few of these tweets were prepped by staffers. But, it is always nice once in a while to be able to have this direct line of communication with public personalities. Sometimes.

Happy Easter! He is risen. What a joyous day it is.
