On Saturday, The New York Times issued an intense allegation against President Donald J . Trump, claiming the 45th president made racially insensitive remarks about Haitian and Nigerian immigrants during a meeting this past June. Now, the White House is hitting back hard calling the Times’ report "outrageous."
As CNN Notes, the Times' story claims that “Trump said during a meeting in June that people coming from Haiti ‘all have AIDS,’ that recent Nigerian immigrants would never ‘go back to their huts’ in Africa and that Afghanistan is a terrorist haven.”
But those claims are backed only by two anonymous sources. As writer, comedian, and friend Ryan Girdusky points out, the rest of the sources and many more people who were actually in the room deny these claims.

On Saturday, the White House officially denied these reports in a statement made by White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.
"General Kelly, General McMaster, Secretary Tillerson, Secretary Nielsen, and all other senior staff actually in the meeting deny these outrageous claims and it's both sad and telling the New York Times would print the lies of their anonymous 'sources' anyway," Sanders said.
These remarks allegedly came during a broader immigration strategy meeting.
