Teen Who Anthony Weiner Sexted Speaks Out on Inside Edition

The teen whose online relationship* with former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) resulted in his arrest and conviction for transferring obscene material to a minor, as well as re-opened the investigation regarding then-candidate Hillary Clinton's emails, has spoken out on Inside Edition about what the former congressman sent her during their correspondences. The teen, who was not identified, said that she reached out to Weiner via a direct message on Twitter, and that Weiner replied within minutes. The conversation then spiraled off to Facebook, the messaging app Kik, and the confidential app "Confide."

Among other things, Weiner told the 15-year-old that her body was "insane," and sent her lewd pictures. One of the pictures contained a picture of his son, which the teen said was the last straw that made her come forward.

Some of the messages that Weiner sent the teen were too vulgar to be published, Inside Edition reported.

Bizarrely, after Weiner's relationship* with the girl came to light, some on the left attacked her as a Trump-supporting plant. The girl cannot legally drive, never mind vote, and Weiner is a grown man who was once a member of Congress. Any sane adult human (never mind one who was already married) would simply ignore a teenager who reached out on social media, not escalate it to flirting and then sexting. This wasn't a lapse in judgment--this was the actions of a predator.

*It seems wrong to call this a "relationship" as she was under the age of consent in New York, and Weiner was convicted of a crime for his actions, but I'm not sure there's a better word to accurately describe what happened.
