The Obama administration’s plan to cut carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 30 percent from 2005 levels by 2030 has a majority of Americans feeling their wallets since electrical costs are projected to go up. The increases specifically places fixed-income seniors in the cross hairs. Moreover, the projected job losses are will hit rural America the worst. Oh, and did I mention that the Clean Power Plan pretty much punishes states that voted for Romney in 2012.
In a new Rasmussen poll, 56 percent of Americans believe the plan will increase the cost of energy, 17 percent said it will decrease it, and 12 percent said the plan will have no impact on a typical American family's electrical bill. To make matters worse, the plan is projected to gut millions of jobs from the Black and Hispanic communities by 2035.
Lastly, global warming seems to be so powerful and threatening that it’s leaving the Himalayas alone. That must explain why there are no studies that can point to global warming as the culprit regarding natural disasters in the region (via Indo-Asian News Service):
"There is no study reported so far, which supports the fact that many type of instances similar to natural calamities are occurring in the Himalayan region due to global warming," Environment, Forests and Climate Change Minister Prakash Javadekar told the Rajya Sabha in a written reply.
The CIA shut down its climate research program, so I guess the threat is mostly relegated to minds of those in the progressive and environmental left, whose agenda is to burden the nation with regulations and job losses in order to save us from a phenomena that occurs naturally.
