Armey: "We Don't Need a Top Dog"

Speaking from the Conservative Political Action Conference this morning (CPAC), former Texas Rep. and Freedom Works president Dick Armey encouraged the tea party movement to continue onward sans a central leadership figure.

"We don't need a top dog," the Washington veteran told the crowd.  Armey reminded the audience that Americans gathered at town hall meetings on their own accord and flooded the streets of Washington during last year's 9/12 march because they supported freedom.

"Let's stay focused on the purposes that are larger than any of us," Armey said.
