This Day in American History...

Today marks the 46th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King's I Have a Dream speech, made during the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.  Though the struggles are different, some words from this historical speech may be applied to challenges we are facing today:
Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.  We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline...

And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream.  It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
