Delaware has become the first state in the union to pass into law a bill which requires all school districts to post their check registers online documenting all checks paid by the district.  Taxpayers will now be able to hold school districts accountable for where money is spent.  Delaware will be the first state to require school districts to post all disbursed checks, and South Carolina has passed similar legislation, with a $100 disclosure threshold.

While the legislation didn't mention credit cards and other purchase cards used by some school districts, this is a tremendous first step towards keeping the government more accountable and avoid extravagant purchases like these

Real transparency working for taxpayers.  Obama, take note.
