What Real Transparency Looks Like

Delaware has become the first state in the union to pass into law a bill which requires all school districts to post their check registers online documenting all checks paid by the district.  Taxpayers will now be able to hold school districts accountable for where money is spent.  Delaware will be the first state to require school districts to post all disbursed checks, and South Carolina has passed similar legislation, with a $100 disclosure threshold.
