Donald Trump Jr. Wrecks 'The View’s' Joy Behar's Past Dabbling in Blackface…Did She Forget There Are Photos?

Donald Trump Jr. appeared on The View today and it was as entertaining as it could get. Like his father, he does not shy away from a fight and he will battle to the bitter end against the nonsense that’s hurled at him from the liberal media, especially the little minions that occupy that View table. Julio already wrote about how he trashed ABC, which hosts The View, for firing the alleged whistleblower who gave Project Veritas the tape showing reporter Amy Robach voice her frustration that the network had killed stories about Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse allegations because they wanted to protect Bill Clinton; Epstein had ties to the Clinton family.

Then, host Joy Behar decided to talk about the degradation of discourse and character. Yeah, Joy can’t really say jack about this, and Trump Jr. was well-prepared to deliver haymakers in response. Who wouldn’t if your father is attacked so regularly by these clowns? Trump Jr. immediately brought up Behar’s dabbling in blackface, which she admitted to on-air. We have the evidence. We have a photo. So, get wrecked, Joy.

Also, to Joy’s claim about Trump calling Mexicans rapists, the media really needs to go back to the tape and review. If a Bernie Sanders supporter can write in Salon (yes, that left-wing site) that this was a media smear against the president, then you know it was another fake news story. The person who debunked this common media myth was a college professor of all people [bold text indicates Trump’s speech]:

In one of my courses, at the University of Texas at Austin, I asked my students: “What has Donald Trump said that you found most offensive?” One student raised her hand high: “He said that all Mexicans are rapists.” I asked a coworker the same question. He replied: “He said that all Mexican immigrants are rapists.”

I explained that Trump said no such thing. This is what Trump said:

“When do we beat Mexico at the border? They’re laughing at us, at our stupidity. [...] When Mexico sends its people they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you; they’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists, and some, I assume, are good people. But I speak to border guards and they tell us what we’re getting.”

You might well dislike Trump’s words. I did. But let’s not make it worse. He did not say that all Mexicans are rapists. Yet that’s what many commentators did. For example, Politico misquoted Trump by omitting his phrase about “good people.” They said he was “demonizing Mexicans as rapists.” They argued that Mexicans do not really commit more rapes in the U.S. than whites. But that’s not what Trump claimed.

[…]

Compare such words with Trump’s words. Which is worse? Writers excerpted the phrase: “they’re rapists,” as if it were about all Mexican unauthorized immigrants, or worse, about all Mexican immigrants, or even worst, about all Mexicans. But that’s not what he said. That’s not what he meant. It was just a remark about some of the criminals crossing the border.

The View has had many popcorn-worthy moments, mostly from the stupidity of its liberal hosts, but Trump Jr. taking a sledgehammer to their nonsense is a grade-A premium production. He came ready to play.
