Oh my, the apple does not fall too far from the tree. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) isn’t alone. In March, the Minnesota Democrat was accused of holding secret fundraisers for groups with terror ties (via Free Beacon):
Democratic freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) has been holding a series of secret fundraisers with groups that have been tied to the support of terrorism, appearances that have been closed to the press and hidden from public view.
The content of these speeches, given to predominately Muslim audiences, remains unknown, prompting some of Omar's critics to express concern about the type of rhetoric she is using before these paying audiences, particularly in light of the lawmaker's repeated use of anti-Semitic tropes in public.
Omar recently spoke in Florida at a private event hosted by Islamic Relief, a charity organization long said to have deep ties to groups that advocate terrorism against Israel.
In March, Omar was at a Council on American-Islamic Relations fundraiser, CAIR has been accused of terror ties, where she described the 9/11 attacks as an event where “some people did something.” It was abysmal and prompted a huge backlash, though Omar doesn’t care. She’s the most ungrateful refugee the country has probably ever rescued, but that’s another matter. Yet, Omar isn’t the only one reportedly palling around with terrorists. It probably shouldn’t shock us. Actually, it doesn’t shock us, the Women’s March’s Linda Sarsour will be a keynote speaker for an event hosted by Islamic Relief USA, a group that’s an offshoot of the larger Islamic Relief Worldwide, which has been banned in several countries over its alleged unsavory connections to terror groups. The Clarion Project has more:

Islamist activist, sharia-apologist and co-founder of the Women’s March Linda Sarsour is set to be a keynote speaker at several Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA) fundraisers across the country, reported The Blaze.
IRUSA is the American affiliate of UK-based Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), which has been banned in several countries due to its ties to international terrorist organizations.
There is currently an ongoing federal criminal investigation in the U.S. into Islamic Relief. The investigation was triggered by Clarion Project’s National Security Analyst and Shillman Fellow Ryan Mauro in 2014. Three different government agencies have already presented strong evidence of Islamic Relief’s terror ties.
Mauro also found that several officials of Islamic Relief USA have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, which the Trump administration may soon be designating as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
For example, the organization’s vice chairman, Hamdy Radwanone, defended the terrorist organization Hamas (which previously declared itself the Palestinian branch of the Brotherhood) as “freedom fighters.”
The far left sure knows how to pick them, huh? Oh, have you seen what she's said about those who want to reform Islam? It's not pretty. Here's a little trip down memory lane:
