Here Are The Democrats Boycotting The State Of The Union Because Trump Is A Liar And A Racist

President Donald J. Trump is set to deliver the State of the Union on January 30. To no one’s surprise, a few Democrats will be boycotting the event. Well, five total—all the typical loudmouths of the Democratic Party.

1. Frederica Wilson (D-FL)

2. Maxine Waters (D-CA)

3. Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.)

4. John Lewis (D-GA)

5. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR)

Lewis thinks Trump is a racist after the “s**thole countries remark”:

Lewis, 77, said he cannot go forward with attending the address to Congress, after what President Donald Trump "has said about so many Americans... I wouldn't be honest with myself."

He also told NBC News he believes Trump has racism "in his DNA."

Waters thinks he’s a liar, among other things:

Why would I take my time to go and sit and listen to a liar?" Waters said in an appearance on MSNBC Friday evening. "Someone who lies in the face of facts, someone who can change their tune day in and day out. What does he have to say that I would be interested in?"

And Wilson pretty much reiterated what Waters said:

Wilson told The Tampa Bay Times Sunday in a statement she doesn’t plan to attend Trump’s speech to Congress on Jan. 30.

"For the first time since I began serving in the U.S. House of Representatives, I will not be attending the president's State of the Union address," Wilson said. "I have no doubt that instead of delivering a message of inclusivity and an agenda that benefits all Americans, President Trump's address will be full of innuendo, empty promises, and lies.”

Jayapal cited racism:

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) on Monday announced she plans to boycott President Trump's State of the Union address to Congress at the end of the month, joining a handful of other Democratic lawmakers who are skipping the annual event.

"I'm here on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to say I will not be going to the State of the Union," Jayapal said in a video posted on social media.

"I think it is absolutely unacceptable to see the racism and the hatred coming out the White House in a way in which this president is fueling the flames of divisiveness across our country," she added.

Wilson was also the congresswoman who said the ambush in Niger that left four American soldiers dead would become Trump’s Benghazi. We’ve deployed a small contingent of troops for anti-terror operations. Also, that’s a patently false remark. It hasn’t become a scandal, though the Left sure tried on that front. It entered the realm of the insane, the perfect encapsulation of overreach that even forced anti-Trump writers to call out their side for peddling a false narrative. Rachel Maddow was one of them. The MSNBC host suggested our troops were killed because of Trump’s executive order on immigration, which prompted Chad, who also had troops in the country to withdraw. In other words, this decision prompted Chad to pull back and our troops got killed, which equals Trump killed them. No, it does not. First of all, the distance between Chadian and American forces at the time of the ambush was 733 miles. We were in Tongo Tongo, Chad was in Diffa executing anti-Boko Haram operations. It just wasn’t a factor, so maybe it’s best that these clowns won’t be at the State of the Union.
