Trump: Oh, I'm Going To Keep Tweeting Because It Bypasses Dishonest Media

At the Freedom Ball in Washington D.C., one of three balls that President Donald J. Trump planned on attending, he addressed the crowd and asked them if he should continue using Twitter during his presidency.

“Should I keep the Twitter going or not—keep it going. I think so,” he said to a cheering crowd.

“You know, the enemies keep saying ‘oh, that’s terrible, but you know it’s a way of bypassing dishonest media, right,” he added.

The latter is no joke. Salena Zito of The Washington Examiner wrote about how his supporter love his Twitter interactions since they view them as a president who is taking on the news media that has been vicious to the president. They view it as a way for Trump to deliver an upper cut to the Democrat-media complex. It also offers insight concerning how the president is thinking in real time. Finally, it’s proven to be a way to move Congress on some issues. Oh yes, Twitter will be one of the many tools President Trump will use to move D.C. on his agenda. Count on that.
