Palin on <em>SNL</em> / Powell on <em>Meet The Press</em>

In the next 13 hours, or so, we've got two big TV events that could impact the race:

... Tonight, Sarah Palin will be on Saturday Night Live. A good performance could not only help

McCain, it could also help Palin's political career, going forward, should McCain lose.

... Tomorrow, Colin Powell will be on Meet The Press, where he is expected to endorse a candidate for president. An endorsement of Barack Obama -- which seems the most likely scenario -- would be a considerable boost to Obama.

Oh yeah, and the Red Sox are playing Tampa Bay...
