Pelosi Calls Convention to Order

Fox isn't covering it really yet, but MSNBC just opened their real convention coverage (speeches, not just talking heads). Pelosi is the first to talk, and it kind of sounds like there is a lot of murmuring in the audience. There is some polite applause, but it is perfunctory, at best (maybe she's like an opening act at a rock concert??)

There is so much hype involved in a national convention, but this seems a bit anti-climactic. Pelosi doesn't seem to have gotten this thing off to an exciting start ...
