7 Senate Seats to Watch ...

Now that we've settled on a GOP nominee, I'm going to try to spend a little time focusing on the upcoming Senate elections.  Here's why:

If you care about keeping activist judges off the Supreme Court, then making sure we elect good conservatives to the Senate is perhaps just as important as making sure we elect a good president.

There are seven races that I'm going to focus on -- because these seven races will be vitally important in determining the kind of judges that are both appointed -- and confirmed

They are as follows:

1. Louisiana

Sen. Landrieu (D) versus State Treasurer John Kennedy (R)  (This is one we can take).

2. New Hampshire

Sen. Sununu (R) versus former Gov. Shaheen (D) (rematch of 2002)

3.  Colorado

Former Rep. Bob Schaffer (R) versus Rep. Mark Udall (D)  (Check out this video ... and this one.

4.  New Mexico

Either Rep. Wilson (R) or Rep. Pearce (R) versus Rep. Tom Udall (D)

5. Minnesota

Sen. Coleman (R) versus either Al Franken (D) or Mike Cerisi (D)

6. Oregon

Sen. Smith (R) versus Jeff Merkley (D) or Steve Novick (D)

7. Maine

Sen. Collins (R) versus Rep. Tom Allen (D)

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has made it very easy to help Republican candidates.  Check this out.
