I'm hearing rumors that one of the reasons McCain received such a good response today was that two "bus-loads" of McCain supporters were ushered into the auditorium, ahead of regular CPAC attendees. Not sure if it's true, but if it is, it's probably smart politics.

The young people I talked to (pictures to come) were real-life McCain supporters, and seemed to fit the profile of the CPAC attendees I've seen, and I've been going to CPAC for nine years now.
One last note: I'm starting to hear rumors, as well, that some Arlington Group members are urging Dr. Dobson to actually officially endorse Mike Huckabee. I suppose it's possible that Huckabee will finally receive the full support (which has evaded him) of some social conservative leaders. This, of course, is too little, too late. But it could be interesting to watch.
