One of my girls commented as I dropped her off at her house, "back to ol' brick city. Bricks everywhere you look." I'm glad we all got to get out of brick city for a while. Thank you so much for your help.
Here we are at "club," where we dance, sing, talk, play some games, and hear some preachin'. That sign in the back is supposed to be "VA" for Virginia, by the way, but they kept getting it backwards for pictures.
We dressed up for "Throwback Night." I did the best I could, scrounging 70s outfits from my closet and the thrift store, and the girls did great on their own, bringing bell-bottoms with them and feathering their hair.
I love this one. Having too much fun at dinner one night.
Nikelle shows off on the volleyball court.
Names in the sand.
The aforementioned tubing. Can you tell why they love it?
You know everyone's gotta have a little camp boyfriend. :)
I've known a couple of these girls for several years. A couple others, I just met this week. Without exception, they are clever and sensitive and strong beyond belief. Among them are singers, athletes, aspiring writers, voracious readers, seekers and skeptics. It is truly a gift to get to spend time with all of them, and it's a gift for them to be able to go to camp and just act like kids.

To them and to all of you, "I thank my God every time I remember you." --Philippians 1:3
One of my favorite songs from the week was "We're Blessed" by Fred Hammond. We certainly were. Thanks for the help.
