Yes, I was blue. Now, I'm red.
The problem, this time, is not that someone is trying to make a political statement using my epidermis as a canvas.
This time, it happened at Young Life. We did an Easter theme last night and, in one of the games we played, I was made to sit on a stool while a couple high school students decorated my face like an Easter egg.
They used cake frosting and icing, and plenty of it. (Yeah, yeah, don't laugh. It's what we had on hand. Young Life kind of flies by the seat of its pants. Or at least our team does.)
Turns out my skin is sensitive to that stuff. When I washed up, I found I had what looks like a sort of sugar-induced sunburn. I'm hoping it will clear up by tomorrow, but at least, this time, I am dyed the appropriate partisan hue.
Now that I've covered both sides of the aisle, perhaps I can stop dyeing myself. Although, I've gotten several requests for Oompa-Loompa orange.
