Hillary: I Could 'Obviously' Beat Trump in 2020

Hillary Clinton joked on Tuesday that she could beat President Trump in 2020 if she were to jump in the race.

“Maybe there does need to be a rematch. I mean, obviously I can beat him again,” Clinton told “PBS Newshour” host Judy Woodruff, referencing her popular vote win in 2016.

Her comment came after President Trump suggested she jump in the race to “steal it away from Uber Left Elizabeth Warren.”

“Only one condition,” Trump added. “The Crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors including how & why she deleted 33,000 Emails AFTER getting “C” Subpoena!”

Clinton responded, not to tempt her. “Do your job,” she said.

Commenting on the exchange during her interview with Woodruff, the former secretary of state said the tweet was “just so typical of him.”

“Nothing has been more examined and looked at than my emails. We all know that. He’s either lying or delusional or both … so maybe there does need to be a rematch. Obviously I can beat him again,” she said.

"But, seriously, I don’t understand, I don’t think anyone understands, what motivates him other than personal grievance, other than seeking adulation," Clinton wondered. “I said during the campaign, there was no other Donald Trump. What you saw was what you were going to get, and I think a lot of Americans understandably thought, oh, no, that can’t possibly be the case. Once he’s in office, he will certainly moderate his behavior. Well, we see, no, he hasn’t.”

Clinton has said several times that she has no plans to run in 2020, but that hasn't stopped the rumor mills, and her latest tweet didn't help put the possibility to rest.
