Vociferous Opposition to the Slaughter Solution from... Nancy Pelosi!

Turns out that the much-ballyhooed "Slaughter Solution," which would allow the House to bypass a vote on Obamacare and just "deem" it to be passed, has been used before. And guess who was so opposed to the measure that she supported a lawsuit to stop its use?

The court case supported by Pelosi argued that using a solution like the Slaughter Solution was unconstitutional, violating Article I, Section 7 of the Constitution. Now that she sits in the Speaker's chair, Nancy Pelosi has decided that controversial procedural maneuvers designed to save the skin of her party aren't so illegal.
