As Democrats continue their war on Immigration and Customs Enforcement, with calls to abolish the agency, the Trump administration is standing strong behind the men and women who work there.
During a speech at ICE headquarters in Washington DC Friday, Vice President Mike Pence fully backed the agency and explained why it is crucial to the safety of the country.
The calls to abolish @ICEgov are not just outrageous - they're irresponsible. Abolishing ICE would mean more illegal immigration, more violent crime, more vicious gangs, more drugs, and more human trafficking. #IStandWithICE pic.twitter.com/MWTF4x8PG4

The heroes of @ICEgov are being attacked and demonized for the work that they do at an unprecedented rate. The threats against ICE officers and their families must stop, and they must stop now. #IStandWithICE pic.twitter.com/mNgxEymJ6O

In 2017, @ICEgov made 4,818 gang arrests, and they took from the streets 796 members of the MS-13 gang. Our communities are safer as a result. #IStandWithICE pic.twitter.com/hqa9H5oV0v
