Trump on Details of The Memo: People Should Be Ashamed

President Trump declassified and authorized the release of a House Intelligence Committee memo Friday afternoon. It shows the FBI used the infamous Fusion GPS dossier to obtain a FISA warrant on members of his campaign.

When asked about the contents of the memo during an event with North Korean defectors at the White House, Trump said "people should be ashamed."

"I think it's a disgrace.  What's going on in this country, I think it's a disgrace," Trump said. "A lot of people should be ashamed of themselves and much worse than that."

"So I sent it over to Congress, and they will do what they're going to do, whatever they do is fine," he continued. "It was de-classified and let's see what happens. A lot of people should be ashamed. Thank you very much."

Trump was also asked if he still has confidence in Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who is in charge of overseeing the Special Counsel investigation.

"You figure that one out," he said.
