Search For a New FBI Director Proceeding Rapidly

With the ousting of FBI Director James Comey last week, Justice Department officials are hard at work finding his replacement. 

There are a number of names on the list for consideration and a nominee could be sent to Capitol Hill for consideration by Friday.

In the meantime, although the White House is taking a hands off approach in choosing a nominee, President Trump said Monday from the White House that Comey's replacement is "coming along rapidly."
