This afternoon, Trump and future First Lady Melania toured Capitol Hill with Vice President-elect Mike Pence, Speaker Paul Ryan and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. They had a meeting in the Speaker's office about policy priorities for the new administration.

During a discussion with McConnell, Trump focused on three specific priorities he'll likely bring to the table in the first 100 days: Jobs, healthcare/repeal of Obamacare, immigration and border security.

“A lot of really great priorities. People will be very, very happy. Well, we have a lot," Trump said after a sit-down with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. "We’re looking very strongly at immigration, we’re going to look at the borders, very importantly, we’re looking very strongly at healthcare and we’re looking at jobs. Big league jobs.”

During an interview on CNN earlier today, former Republican Senator and Heritage Foundation President Jim DeMint also indicated the repeal of Obamacare will be an immediate priority, saying with a GOP majority in the House and Senate there are no more excuses.
