In the past year, it has been difficult for many conservatives and pro-Second Amendment advocates to accept the fact that Mitt Romney signed a permanent semi-automatic rifle ban as governor off Massachusetts. He voted last year for a gun-rights bill under which a permit to carry a concealed firearm in one state would be valid in almost every other state.”
