Gingrich: Liberation by Electric Car a Fantasy

GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is slamming President Obama on his energy policy as the White House doubles down and backs the administration's energy policies. During an interview on CBS News "This Morning," the Speaker referred to Obama's energy policy as anti-American, pointing out that the use of electric cars is inefficient on its own, but also an inefficient way for the United States to become energy independent.

The former House speaker tells CBS's "This Morning" show gasoline prices have skyrocketed since Obama took office. He says Obama entertains a "fantasy" that the electric car "is going to liberate us from Saudi Arabia."

Not to mention electric cars are anythng but affordable for the middle class, who Obama constantly claims to want to protect.
