David Axelrod: GOP Messing Up Economy to Make Obama Look Bad, or Something

Chicago crony and Barack Obama's top campaign man David Axelrod thinks "some folks [Republicans] over there think somehow screwing up the economy, throwing a wrench in the works, is somehow a god political strategy for them," referring to the current payroll tax hike fight in Washington D.C. Axelrod also referred to Newt Gingrich as a "monkey" when talking about the GOP primary race and ripped Mitt Romney for trying to act like an outside business man, saying Romney has been running for office for 17 years.

"The higher a monkey climbs up on the pole, the more you can see his butt."

If Gingrich weren't white, that would be a racist comment.
