Arizona Posed for Recounts

Arizona's Congressional Districts 7 and 8 are too close to call and most likely will result in recounts.

Republican Jesse Kelly is looking to oust Democrat Gabrielle Giffords in CD-8, with votes tallying 49-48 percent with Giffords in the lead. The libertarian candidate, Steven Stoltz, received 4 percent of the vote, which now looking at those numbers could lead to a Kelly loss.

Ruth McClung in CD-7 trails Rep. Raul Grijalva 49-46 percent, but all ballots in Pima County have been not yet been counted.

Republican Jan Brewer easily won re-election against her challenger Attorney General Terry Goddard with 55 percent of the vote.

If both Kelly and McClung win their seats, Republicans will have swept every Congressional House seat in the state but one.

The most interesting win coming out of Arizona last night is the passing of Proposition 106, which blocks the federal government's individual health care mandate in ObamaCare from taking place in Arizona.
