Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is in charge of Vision 2030, a Saudi social and economic reform plan that began last year to diversify the oil dependent economy.
In a statement, the royal court said Mohammed will meet with President Trump and other U.S. officials to discuss "the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries and regional issues of mutual interest."
Global energy prices, conflicts in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen, and Iran's nuclear capabilities are all expected to be discussed during the meeting.
Mohammed departs for the United States on Monday.
