All-Star Sports Lineup for Trump's Republican National Convention

All-Star Sports Lineup for Trump's Republican National Convention

Get ready for one of the most exciting GOP conventions of all time come July when Republican nominee Donald Trump takes charge of Quicken Loans arena in Cleveland, Ohio.  According to reports, sports legends like Mike Tyson, Bobby "The General" Knight, and Mike Ditka will all be in the lineup to show their support for the nominee.

Talks are in the works with many other celebrities and top athletes as the list of those appearing at the convention will grow, organizers said.

"Mike Tyson endorsed me, I love it," Trump said in April. "You know, all the tough guys endorse me. I like that."

Ditka, Knight, and Tyson would certainly validate as tough guys from the 80s and 90s, but Trump will have to get modern sports heroes if he wants to have the full effect on a younger generation.

Trump has made it clear that he wants the event to be a gathering of "winners," not politicians.
