Joe Biden: "I Would Have Been the Best President"

During an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America," Joe Biden said he would have best choice for president in 2017.

"I think I would have been the best president, but it was the right thing not just for my family but for me," not to run, Biden said.

“No one should ever seek the presidency unless they're able to devote their whole heart and soul and passion into just doing that,” he said.

As the sitting vice president of the United States, Biden went on to assure the American people that Hillary Clinton will be the next commander-in-chief.

“I feel confident that Hillary will be the nominee," Biden said, "and I feel confident she’ll be the next president."

Last month Biden was interviewed on this years presidential campaign and touted his esteemed career while in the executive office.

“Every assignment he's given me, I've not had to check back," he said. "I ran the Recovery Act — beginning, middle and end. I did the Iraq thing.”

When asked about his popular title, 'Goofy Uncle Joe,' Biden said, “No, I'm not comfortable with Goofy Uncle Joe.”

“And by the way, the so-called Goofy Uncle Joe — if you notice, I beat every Republican in every poll when they thought I was running,” he added.
