“Morning Joe” Scarborough is off the air for two days after it was discovered that he donated $4,000 to eight separate politicians who were running for state and local office. All of them were Republicans, according to Politico. Scarborough's statement:
I recognize that I have a responsibility to honor the guidelines and conditions of my employment, and I regret that I failed to do so in this matter... I apologize to MSNBC and to anyone who has been negatively affected by my actions.MSNBC president Phil Griffin had demanded the two-day suspension, and Politico reports that Scarborough readily agreed.
