This marks the second talk show host suspension in under three weeks for MSNBC.

“Morning Joe” Scarborough is off the air for two days after it was discovered that he donated $4,000 to eight separate politicians who were running for state and local office. All of them were Republicans, according to Politico. Scarborough's statement:
I recognize that I have a responsibility to honor the guidelines and conditions of my employment, and I regret that I failed to do so in this matter... I apologize to MSNBC and to anyone who has been negatively affected by my actions.
MSNBC president Phil Griffin had demanded the two-day suspension, and Politico reports that Scarborough readily agreed.
