Nikki Haley Goes Into A Runoff

Nikki Haley has captured 48.96% of the vote, enough to put her into a runoff with Gresham Barret. The question remains — will Barret call it quits? There's not much of a political argument for it — Democratic nominee Vincent Sheheen doesn't have a chance, so there's no chance of depleting resources for the general election. Meanwhile, in South Carolina, neither Rep. Bob Inglis nor Spartanburg County Solicitor Trey Gowdy captured more than 50% of the race, meaning there will be another primary on June 22.

The Blanche Lincoln / Bill Halter showdown in Arkansas, Lincoln has a slim lead with only 24% of precincts reporting.
