Video: Romney Boosts Mia Love in Utah

We've been keeping an eye on the race for Utah's fourth Congressional District ever since GOP candidate Mia Love made a splash at the Republican National Convention in Tampa.  Love started the campaign as a heavy underdog, but has fought her way up to narrow favorite status.  Still, she's up against an entrenched Democratic incumbent with a powerful family name in the state, and she's running in her deep red state's bluest region.  Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who is immensely popular in Utah, is pitching in to help Love make a strong closing argument to voters:

Love, Rep. Allen West, viral video star Rep. Mike Kelly, and Mitt Romney all appear in the National Republican Congressional Committee's new web video, which spells out the stakes of Tuesday's election:

Romney also cut a new ad for Arizona Republican Senate candidate Jeff Flake.

UPDATE - The Salt Lake Tribune is out with a brand new poll in this race.  Enjoy:

For 12 years, Jim Matheson has been a political escape artist, managing to wiggle free from every trap the Utah Republicans have thrown his way. But after six successful elections, his charmed political run may be coming to an end. Matheson trails Republican challenger Mia Love 52 percent to 40 percent in a new poll conducted for The Salt Lake Tribune, a large margin in a race where, even a few days ago, both campaigns were predicting a tight finish.
