Inevitable: Iowa Mailer Hits Newt on Divorce

When you're cleaning up in debates and climbing in the polls, it's only a matter of time until the long knives are unsheathed.  Unfortunately for Newt, his past baggage creates a target rich environment.  A somewhat mysterious group called "Iowans for Christian Leaders in Government" has entered the fray with a bang.  Via Politico's Ben Smith:

This is an especially uncharitable rendition of events -- but Newt didn't exactly help himself by cheating on back-to-back wives, then blaming his betrayals on "working too hard" for America.  If and when this personal issue crops up again, he's going to have to handle it with more grace and contrition than he has in the past
