U-G-L-Y: Tim Kaine Don't Have No Alibi
The White House and other top Democrats are reportedly leaning hard on former governor and current DNC chairman Tim Kaine to run for Jim Webb's soon-to-be vacant

Senate seat.  I've heard from a number of sources that Kaine isn't exactly thrilled about the prospect, perhaps because he knows how hard it will be for him to win in Virginia, a state that has re-established its red roots over the last two years.

The Kaine For Senate crowd is likely pointing to his six-point win in the commonwealth's 2005 gubernatorial election as evidence that he has broad, statewide appeal.  But that victory came before he took the helm at the DNC -- while concurrently serving as governor -- and morphed, by necessity, into a full-fledged cheerleader for President Obama and Speaker Pelosi's policies.  All of them.  The NRSC isn't about to let Virginia voters forget that Kaine abandoned all moderate, Blue Dog cred when he voluntarily became top shill for the Left-wing agenda his allies have visited upon the country:

While it's a bit campy, this new web video effectively highlights Kaine's Obama/Reid/Pelosi cheerleading throughout the current spending binge.  Sure, reflexive partisan hackery is part of the Kaine's job description as party chair, but it also makes him radioactive to many Virginia voters.

Love the late 90's Ferrell/Oteri SNL clip at the end.
