A disturbing video of a mother kicking her seven year-old son out for ‘voting’ for Trump in a mock election at school quickly went viral, and now Texas authorities are investigating the mother for child abuse.
The mother recorded the video herself and posted it to Facebook Friday, according to KPRC-TV.
In the video, she can be heard telling her son, “Since you voted for Donald Trump, you get your sh*t and get out…We don't do Donald Trump here. Now get your suitcase. Bye.”
She then forces him out of the house with nothing but a small suitcase and a sign which reads: “My mom kicked me out because I voted for Donald Trump.” The whole time, the young boy is in hysterics.
As the boy walks down the driveway, the mother can be heard saying, “Bye, Donald Trump lover.”
When he reaches the sidewalk, he tells his mother, “But I have school tomorrow,” to which she replies, “You should've of thought about that.”
The mother continues to shout and curse at her son—outside in the dark, while he sobs uncontrollably—throughout the rest of the video.

Since Friday, the video has been shared more than 200,000 times. People across the world who saw the video are outraged and demanded police investigate the mother for child abuse.

Sheriff Troy Nehls from Fort Bend County in Texas said he received phone calls about the video from as far away as France.
He called the video disturbing and appalling, and posted this to Facebook.
Nehls also told KPRC-TV, “After viewing the video, my heart breaks for what this poor child endured.”
"If we can find a criminal violation of law, I will personally arrest her myself," he added.
Detective Joe Luera from Fort Bend Sheriff’s Office, said no evidence of a crime was found. He also met with the family and the boy and said he appeared to be in good health. However, the investigation is still ongoing.
The mother, who was interviewed by Fort Bend County’s Sheriff’s Office and Child Protective Services, claimed the whole thing was a joke.
