Karl Rove Suggests Palin Is Thin-Skinned

Well, make this Palin vs. the Establishment Round 1,000. Karl Rove, when discussing a Palin run,  said her schedule 'looks more like the schedule of somebody who wants to be a candidate than somebody who's just a celebrity."

Rove also got frustrated that Palin seems to think her schedule isn't game for speculation.

"It is a sign of enormous thin skin that if we speculate about her, she gets upset," Rove said to Greta Van Susteren.

Watch below -- the Palin portion comes around the 12:45 mark.

This was the statement her PAC released that Rove seemed to be referring to: "Three years ago DC pundits predicted with glee the demise of Sarah Palin's political career. This past weekend their tune changed, citing false information that she has made a decision and set a date regarding a future campaign. Any professional pundit claiming to have "inside information" regarding Governor Palin's personal decision is not only wrong but their comments are specifically intended to mislead the American public. These are the same tired establishment political games that fuel the 24 hour news cycle and that all Americans will hopefully reject in 2012, and this is more of the "politics-as-usual" that Sarah Palin has fought against throughout her career."

Here's the first two paragraphs to an article from CNN that the PAC linked to instead, and praised:

Karl Rove caused a commotion in recent days by predicting that Sarah Palin will run for president and hinting that she could announce her campaign during a speech to a tea party group in Iowa over Labor Day weekend.

That might be news to Palin. Asked just over a week ago if she would be ready to join the race by the time Labor Day rolls around, Palin responded, "I doubt it."
