Panetta Not Happy With Debt Deal Pentagon-Slashing

The National Journal reported new Defense Secretary Leon Panetta voiced concern over the fact that potential cuts to the Pentagon could result if the Super Committee established by the debt ceiling deal doesn't do its job.

"If it happened, and God willing that wouldn't be the case, it would result in very dangerous cuts ... that I believe would do great damage," Panetta said at a press conference.
