White House Pool Report Confirms WH Invite to Reid, Boehner for Wednesday Night Meeting

Update on budget talks from WH Press Secretary Jay Carney: POTUS "has now decided that not enough progress has been made, therefore he has invited the Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority leader to the WH for a meeting at 8:45 pm tonight."

Carney said that in this morning's phone calls POTUS was assured that progress had been made, after he offered to host a meeting at the WH this morning.
