Tim Huelskamp Leads GOP Pack in Kansas 1st District

State Sen. Tim Huelskamp leads the pack of GOP challengers for Kansas' Big First, outdistancing his nearest competitor by nearly $80,000 for the all important "cash on hand" title.

Huelskamp had $378,705 while State Sen. Jim Barnett finished second with $302,663. They were the only two to finish above the $300k mark.

The numbers show a huge disappointment for Rob Wasinger, Sen. Sam Brownback's former Chief of Staff, as he was nearly $200k behind Huelskamp.

Remember, Huelskamp won the endorsement of the Club for Growth.

It keeps getting interesting in the Big First!
