Righty Super PAC Goes After Pryor Over VA Scandal

The Freedom Partners Action Fund has released a blistering new ad criticizing Sen. Mark Pryor (D-AR) for not doing more to rein in corruption and greed-induced practices at the VA.

For now, two recent and conflicting polls show the race is pretty much a wash. But will this freshly-released commercial have an impact?

After all, a half-dozen veterans are featured in it, three of whom attack Pryor directly.

“It was Mark Pryor’s job to protect us,” said one.

“Mark Pryor, you sat on the committee that oversaw the VA and let this scandal happen,” said another.

“Mark Pryor, you were supposed to have our backs and you failed us,” said a third.

The Freedom Partners Action Fund is closely-aligned with Koch Industries. Moreover, the Super PAC will spend at least $4 million on television spots alone in Arkansas to unseat Pryor.
