Before President Trump jetted off to Kentucky on Wednesday to speak at the American Veterans Convention, he spent 45 minutes chatting with reporters on the White House lawn. As always he covered a gambit of topics, most pressing of which was his cancelled trip to Denmark. The president revealed that his two-day trip was a no-go after Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen called his idea to purchase the region "absurd." Trump said he had to make a statement that no one treats the U.S. that way.

"I thought it was not a nice statement the way she blew me off," he explained.
Other reporters wanted Trump to explain what he meant on Tuesday when he claimed that Jewish voters would be guilty of "disloyalty" if they voted for Democrats. Trump again condemned members of the Squad for the remarks they've made about the Jewish people and wondered why the Democratic Party "has gotten so far away from Israel."
He did not appreciate the way NBC's Peter Alexander framed his question about Israel and the Democrats and deemed him "biased."
"I made a lot of money for NBC with 'The Apprentice,' and I used to like 'em, but they are the most biased," Trump said. "Peter is such a biased - you should be able to ask the same question in a better way."
"That's why the public has no confidence in the media," Trump added.
The exchange convinced Trump that NBC has officially dethroned CNN as the baton bearer of fake news.
Turning to CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins, Trump said, “NBC News has less credibility in my opinion with guys like you than CNN."
But, he added, "That's not saying much."
