Conservative Group Explains Why, Despite Disliking Trump, They Are Working to Re-elect Him

The Reagan Battallion is a conservative group that was once a proud participant of the "Never Trump" movement, taking issue with his agenda and his behavior. Yet, the sheer radical nature of the opposition has united them squarely behind 45, and they are ready to help his re-election campaign.

Some followers were disappointed in their turnaround, so the group attempted to spell it out a bit more.

There may not be a "probably" about it. Increasingly, 2020 Democratic contenders like Sen. Bernie Sanders are embracing the term "socialism" and the ideas that go along with it. Several candidates, for instance, have come out in favor of Medicare-for-all.

This is huge. I mean, the Reagan Battallion endorsed Evan McMullin over Trump in the 2016 presidential election. That's how far their animosity toward Trump took them.

Others "congratulated" the mainstream media for doing the unthinkable.

As Townhall reported, Trump did some of his own work exposing his opponents' radical behavior at his re-election campaign launch in Orlando the other night.
