The Reagan Battallion is a conservative group that was once a proud participant of the "Never Trump" movement, taking issue with his agenda and his behavior. Yet, the sheer radical nature of the opposition has united them squarely behind 45, and they are ready to help his re-election campaign.
We don’t like Trump, we don’t like his style, his insults, his lack of class, but we hate socialism, we are watching what @jeremycorbyn did to the left in the UK, we are watching that happen here in the US, which is why we are going to do whatever we can to elect Trump.

Some followers were disappointed in their turnaround, so the group attempted to spell it out a bit more.
No, we don’t “want” him to be President, we want @NikkiHaley or @MarcoRubio, or @SenatorTimScott to be President, but they are not on the ballot this cycle.

We have Trump and most probably a socialist on the other side.
We believe Trump is the better option. https://t.co/1uEco1CTdG
There may not be a "probably" about it. Increasingly, 2020 Democratic contenders like Sen. Bernie Sanders are embracing the term "socialism" and the ideas that go along with it. Several candidates, for instance, have come out in favor of Medicare-for-all.
This is huge. I mean, the Reagan Battallion endorsed Evan McMullin over Trump in the 2016 presidential election. That's how far their animosity toward Trump took them.
Others "congratulated" the mainstream media for doing the unthinkable.

Great job, Democratic Media Complex. You’ve turned Reagan Battalion — a vociferously Never Trump entity starting from 2016 until now — into joining forces with Trump to see you defeated. https://t.co/Rz6Q6awv5f

As Townhall reported, Trump did some of his own work exposing his opponents' radical behavior at his re-election campaign launch in Orlando the other night.
