Nate Silver, the editor-in-chief of the popular FiveThirtyEight blog, believes the media was too hard on Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election - especially now that President Trump is tweeting about the U.S.'s nuclear arsenal.
Gotta be honest: On a night like tonight, I'm still pretty pissed at those journalists and news organizations which treated Hillary Clinton's email server as a matter of apocalyptic importance.

He meant Tuesday night, when Trump was challenging North Korean leader Kim Jong Un about who had the bigger nuclear button.

Media pundits like Silver suggested that Trump's taunting tweets for Kim Jong Un were placing the country in danger.
Several Twitter users agreed and tagged The New York Times as the main culprit who unnecessarily hammered Clinton on her email scandal for months. A few admitted they canceled their subscriptions because of it.

Other social media users, however, pointed out that Clinton's email scandal warranted front page news because she placed our national security at risk. As secretary of state, Clinton dealt with sensitive intel on a private, unsecure server. That's not a big deal?
In the few press conferences she held during the election, Clinton dismissed questions about her emails as unimportant. Following the investigation in July 2016, FBI Director James Comey decided not to pursue criminal charges against Clinton, but he did say she had been extremely careless in her use of a personal e-mail system.
