TMZ Chases Down Scaramucci for Parting Comments

TMZ reporters are really good at their job. Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci recognized and respected that as he was getting into his SUV Tuesday. Fresh off his firing from President Trump, Scaramucci humored the eager TMZ photographer by answering a few of his questions on his way out the door.

“I want Chief of Staff Kelly to have an unbelievable opportunity inside the White House,” Scaramucci said.

He was also asked if he had any advice for the next communications director, but declined to comment.

President Trump hired the financier because he liked his bold communication skills. However, he soon came to regret the hire after Scaramucci gave a now infamous profanity-laced (and on the record) interview to The New Yorker.

Scaramucci's short tenure at the White House was lampooned in the media this week. Actress Kate Hudson, who starred alongside Matthew McConaughey in the film, "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," couldn't help poking fun at the comms directors' quick exit.

Former Press Secretary Sean Spicer has been rumored to be joining "Dancing with the Stars," so TMZ asked if Scaramucci would ever consider joining the cast.

"I don't know how to dance," he said.

Mooch, that's what the show is for!

At least one member of the Trump Administration, Energy Secretary Rick Perry, has put on his dancing shoes for the popular ABC competition. He made it to the second week.

TMZ wondered what was next for Scaramucci, to which he responded he's simply trying to be "the best person he can be."
