Trump Sends Chilling Twitter Warning to Comey

President Trump sent a shocking warning to now-ex FBI Director James Comey Friday, via Twitter.

Before Comey was relieved of his duties, the president insists that the FBI director told him he was not under investigation for any kind of collusion with Russia.

"I actually asked him" if I was under investigation, Trump told NBC's Lester Holt this week. "I said, if it's possible would you let me know, am I under investigation? He said, 'You are not under investigation.'"

Trump's displeasure with Comey has escalated rather quickly. Media outlets have pointed out that on the campaign trail Trump was quick to praise Comey for his handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation. Yet, this week Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Trump considered firing Comey "every day" since becoming president. Now, Democrats are accusing the administration of letting Comey go because they wanted to sweep the Russia investigation under the rug.

A few hearings later, Trump insists it's time for the press to move on from the "fake" collusion story.
